Reviewer Guide

All manuscripts submitted to Global Journal of Pharmacy and Health Sciences will be subject to editorial review and blind peer review. The journal applies a blind peer-review process, in which the identities of reviewers are not disclosed to authors and the identities of authors are not disclosed to reviewers. All indicators of identity, such as names, affiliations, and other identifying information, are removed from the manuscript before the review process.

Submitted manuscripts will generally be reviewed by two to three experts in the relevant field. Reviewers are asked to evaluate whether the manuscript is scientifically sound, coherent, original, and sufficiently clear for publication. Reviewers are also expected to assess whether the manuscript duplicates previously published work and whether the research has academic significance and contributes to the advancement of pharmacy and health sciences.

The Editors will make editorial decisions based on the reviewers' reports. Where necessary, the Editors may consult members of the Editorial Board before making a final decision.

Review Decision

Based on the reviewers' comments, the Editors may decide on one of the following outcomes:

1. Accept and publish, with or without editorial revisions.
2. Invite revision, requiring the authors to revise the manuscript and address specific concerns raised by the reviewers and editors.
3. Reject the manuscript, typically due to lack of originality, insufficient conceptual advancement, major technical problems, or significant interpretational issues.

Any changes made to the original manuscript will be clearly communicated to the authors for review. Authors are expected to carefully examine the sentence structure, clarity, completeness, accuracy of the text, references, tables, figures, and other graphic contents of the revised manuscript before resubmission.

Editorial Decision

The Editor-in-Chief has the final authority regarding the acceptance or rejection of manuscripts. The Editorial Board reserves the right to edit articles in terms of style, format, grammar, clarity, and consistency with the journal guidelines. Manuscripts containing excessive errors in spelling, punctuation, formatting, or language may be returned to the authors for revision before resubmission or may be rejected entirely.

Plagiarism Screening

All submitted manuscripts will undergo plagiarism screening using Turnitin or other similarity-checking software. The maximum similarity index allowed by Global Journal of Pharmacy and Health Sciences is 30%. Manuscripts exceeding this threshold may be returned to the authors for revision or rejected by the editorial team.
