Author Guidelines

The editorial team of Global Journal of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (GJPHS) welcomes article submissions that follow the journal guidelines. GJPHS accepts manuscripts in the form of original research articles, review articles, case studies, and scientific papers in the fields of pharmacy, pharmaceutical sciences, public health, biomedical sciences, and related health disciplines.

Manuscripts submitted to GJPHS must be original, have not been previously published, and are not currently being considered for publication in another journal. Manuscripts must be submitted through the online journal system at:

Manuscript Format

Manuscripts should be prepared in A4 paper size, using a single-column format, with margins of 2.5 cm on each side. The manuscript should use 1.15 line spacing and should not exceed 12 pages for one article.

The manuscript should be submitted in Microsoft Word format and should contain the following components in sequence:

1. Title
2. Author names and affiliations
3. Corresponding author email
4. Abstract
5. Keywords
6. Introduction
7. Methods
8. Results and Discussion
9. Conclusion
10. Acknowledgments, if applicable
11. References
12. Supplementary or supporting information, if any

Title

The title should be clear, concise, informative, and interesting. The title should reflect the main content of the article and should not exceed 12 words where possible.

The title may be written in English or Indonesian, depending on the manuscript language. Authors should ensure that the title is grammatically accurate and scientifically appropriate.

Author Information

Author names should be written clearly without academic titles. Each author must include institutional affiliation and email address. The corresponding author should be clearly identified and must provide an active email address for communication during the editorial process.

Abstract and Keywords

The abstract should be written in a maximum of 250 words. The abstract should briefly describe the background of the research problem, research objectives, methods, main results, and conclusion in one paragraph.

Authors should provide 3 to 5 keywords. Keywords should be relevant to the topic of the manuscript, arranged alphabetically where possible, and separated by semicolons.

Introduction

The introduction should clearly explain the background of the problem, the relevance of the research topic, previous studies related to the research problem, research gaps, and the novelty of the study. The final part of the introduction should clearly state the research objectives.

References cited in the introduction should be relevant, current, and properly written according to the journal reference style.

Methods

The methods section should describe the research design, place and time of research, materials or instruments used, population and sample where applicable, data collection procedures, and data analysis techniques.

For studies involving humans, animals, clinical data, or sensitive information, authors should provide ethical clearance information where required.

Results and Discussion

The results and discussion section is the main part of the manuscript. It should present research findings clearly and scientifically using narrative explanation, tables, figures, or graphs where necessary.

The discussion should interpret the findings, compare them with previous studies, explain similarities or differences with existing literature, and describe the scientific contribution of the study. The results and discussion should be able to answer the research objectives stated in the introduction.

Conclusion

The conclusion should be written in a concise narrative form. It should answer the research objectives and summarize the main findings of the study. Authors may also include implications, recommendations, or suggestions for further research based on the findings.

Acknowledgments

Acknowledgments may be provided to parties who contributed to the research but do not meet the criteria for authorship. Authors may acknowledge funding institutions, research facilities, supporting organizations, or professionals who contributed to the preparation of the manuscript.

References

References must be written using the Vancouver citation style. References should be numbered according to their order of appearance in the manuscript, not alphabetically.

Authors should only include references that are cited in the manuscript and are relevant to the study. At least 80% of the references should be from recent publications, preferably published within the last 10 years. Journal articles should make up at least 60% of the total references.

Authors are strongly encouraged to use reference management software such as Mendeley, Zotero, EndNote, or other reference manager applications to ensure citation accuracy and consistency.
