1. Manuscript Submission

Authors submit their manuscripts through the online journal system of Global Journal of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (GJPHS). Authors must ensure that the manuscript follows the journal template, author guidelines, focus and scope, and publication ethics.

2. Initial Editorial Screening

The editorial team conducts an initial screening to evaluate the suitability of the manuscript with the journal’s focus and scope, completeness of submission files, formatting, language clarity, and compliance with the author guidelines.

3. Plagiarism Check

All submitted manuscripts are checked for similarity using plagiarism detection software such as Turnitin or other similarity-checking tools. The maximum similarity index accepted by GJPHS is 30%. Manuscripts that exceed this limit may be returned to the authors for revision or rejected.

4. Peer Review Process

Manuscripts that pass the initial screening and plagiarism check will be assigned to reviewers with relevant expertise. GJPHS applies a blind peer-review process to ensure objectivity and fairness. Reviewers evaluate the manuscript based on originality, scientific quality, methodology, clarity, relevance, and contribution to pharmacy and health sciences.

5. Editorial Decision

Based on reviewers’ comments and editorial evaluation, the editor may make one of the following decisions:

• Accept submission
• Revisions required
• Resubmit for review
• Decline submission

The Editor-in-Chief has the final authority regarding the acceptance or rejection of manuscripts submitted to GJPHS.

6. Author Revision

Authors are required to revise their manuscripts according to the reviewers’ and editors’ comments. Revised manuscripts must be resubmitted through the online journal system within the specified time. Authors should provide clear responses to reviewers’ comments and ensure that all required corrections have been addressed.

7. Copyediting

Accepted manuscripts will proceed to the copyediting stage. At this stage, the manuscript is checked for grammar, consistency, formatting, citation style, reference accuracy, and clarity of presentation. Authors may be contacted to clarify certain parts of the manuscript when necessary.

8. Layout Editing and Proofreading

After copyediting, the manuscript is prepared in the journal layout format. Authors will be asked to check the final proof carefully before publication. At this stage, only minor corrections related to typographical errors, formatting, or layout are allowed.

9. Online Publication

After the final proof is approved, the article will be published online on the official website of Global Journal of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (GJPHS). Published articles will be made available to readers under the journal’s open-access policy.
